What you buy
Digital portraits of your pet, generated by AI from the photo you upload, in the styles you choose. Each portrait is a high-resolution JPG file of 1792 × 2400 pixels without a watermark, and on request a large print file of the same portrait of 3584 × 4800 pixels. Prices are in euros with VAT included for buyers in the EU, and in US dollars everywhere else; they include everything, and there is no subscription.
You can also add up to four prints to your order, art prints or canvases, or order them later from your order page for 12 months. After checkout you choose the portrait on each print from the portraits of your order (with All eight styles, the secret bonus ones too); until you do, each print starts with the portrait you were looking at when you ordered. Prints are shipped to the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the countries of the European Union. A print is paid in the currency of the country it ships to. Set prices for several art prints apply within one order.
Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card details. Checkout may show the amount in your own currency.
Free previews
You can preview up to three styles per photo for free. Previews are watermarked and may only be used to decide whether to buy.
Delivery
Your files are ready to download on your order page right after payment. Styles you did not preview are painted there and then, which takes about a minute each. Your order page and files stay available for 12 months from the day you buy, and every order you made is listed at pawsterpiece.com/my. After 12 months the files are deleted, so please download them.
Prints
Each print is made for you by our print partner and sent by tracked delivery. Delivery is free, and every tax and duty is included in the price, so there is nothing more to pay at the door. We check every print by hand before it goes to production; it usually arrives in 5 to 11 business days in the United States, 6 to 13 in the EU and 7 to 15 in Canada, Australia and New Zealand. We email you the tracking link when it ships. Please check your delivery address at checkout.
For at least 12 hours after you order, or 12 hours after all your portraits are painted if that is later (your order page shows the exact time), or until you press Print these, you can change the portrait on each print, repaint it free (within 30 days of buying the portraits, twice per style), or cancel the prints and get their price back by replying to your order email. Then we check them by hand and send them to production. Once they are in production they are made just for you, so they cannot be returned or refunded because you changed your mind. All prints of one order go to one address and may arrive in separate parcels. If your print arrives damaged or faulty, or does not arrive, tell us within 30 days of delivery (or of the latest delivery date we gave you), with a photo if it is damaged, and we reprint it or refund it, as you prefer. Your rights under consumer law for faulty goods are not affected.
Repaints and refunds
If a portrait does not look like your pet, you can repaint it free from your order page, up to two times per style, within 30 days of your purchase, and tell us what to fix. If you are still not happy with your digital portraits, for any reason, email us within 30 days of your purchase and we refund 100% of what you paid for them to your original payment method. No forms and no photos needed. Refunds usually arrive in 5 to 10 business days. A print is covered by the rules for prints above.
Two fair-use conditions: one refund per customer in any 12 months, and a refund ends your right to use the files. This promise applies wherever you live.
Your photo and your portraits
You confirm that you may use the photo you upload. You may print, frame, share and give your portraits for personal, non-commercial use.
You allow us to use your photo and portraits to paint and deliver your order and to improve our styles. If you buy, you also give us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide permission to show your pet's portraits, and the photo they were painted from, on our website, social media and ads, without your name or contact details, for as long as we use them. We only show photos that show just your pet. You can withdraw this permission at any time by writing to hello@pawsterpiece.com, and we will stop using them.
AI-generated content
The portraits are created by an AI image model. Like a painter, it interprets the photo, so small details can differ from your pet. That is why the preview is free, and why repaints and refunds are built in.
Law
If you are a consumer, you keep every right the law of your own country gives you.
